"INTERMEZZO" es la segunda exposición individual de Dina Atencio con 700 Arte y Antigüedades, después de "Mujer en el rumor del remanso" en 2009.Dina Atencio (Maracaibo, 1981) es una artista visual enfocada en Dibujo y Pintura cuya obra reside en Estados Unidos, Francia, Bélgica, República Checa y Qatar. Para "INTERMEZZO", utilizó papel de embalaje de Harina P.A.N como soporte protagónico, dándole a Empresas Polar un poderoso motivo por el que unirse a nuestra Galería celebrando más de una década de avance en su exploración.

"INTERMEZZO" is Dina Atencio's second solo exhibition with 700 Arte y Antigüedades, following her 2009 show "Mujer en el rumor del remanso".Dina Atencio (Maracaibo, 1981) is a visual artist focused on Drawing and Painting whose work resides in the United States, France, Belgium, the Czech Republic, and Qatar. For "INTERMEZZO", she used flour packaging from Harina P.A.N as the main support for her pieces, giving Empresas Polar a powerful reason to join our Gallery celebrating over a decade of advancement in her exploration.

A través de barro, fuego y humo, Adolfo Morales (Maracaibo, 1965) realiza obras que inician un viaje circular, donde la cerámica refleja su propia interioridad. Reinterpreta la tradición de los loceros y del bruñido, depositando en ella todo cuanto le acontece en su vivir.Siendo una de las primeras apuestas de nuestra fundadora, Beatriz Canaán De Rincón, lleva más de treinta años ligado a nuestra Galería. Su carrera se desarrolla principalmente en Venezuela, habiendo disfrutado de una importante residencia en Brasil. Entre otros galardones, ganó el Premio Universidad de Carabobo año 2000, la Orden Armando Reverón año 2007, la Orden al Mérito Artístico Francisco Hung año 2008 y el Premio Nacional de Artes de Fuego de Venezuela en el año 2013, máxima referencia en el país.

Through clay, fire and smoke, Adolfo Morales (Maracaibo, 1965) crafts works that initiate a circular journey, where ceramics reflect his own interiority. He reinterprets the tradition of potters and burnishing, depositing within it all that happens in his life.As one of the first artists championed by our founder, Beatriz Canaán De Rincón, he has been linked to our gallery for over thirty years. His career has primarily developed in Venezuela, with a notable residency in Brazil. Among other awards, he won the University of Carabobo Prize in 2000, the Armando Reverón Order in 2007, the Francisco Hung Order of Artistic Merit in 2008, and the Venezuelan National Fire Arts Prize in 2013, the highest recognition in the country.

Celebrando "RETORNO", 700 Arte y Antigüedades retoma la representación de la Fundación Francisco Hung. La obra de Francisco Hung fusiona culturas en una energía vibrante, donde la influencia de la caligrafía china se manifiesta en trazos intensos y delicados, mientras que la exuberancia del trópico nutre su paleta. Esta síntesis única dialoga con el Expresionismo Abstracto, resultando en las "Materias Flotantes" con las que se dio a conocer.El Maestro alcanzó reconocimiento nacional e internacional, obteniendo el Premio Nacional de Pintura (1965), el Premio Arturo Michelena en tres ocasiones (1965, 1970, 1986) y el Premio Felisa Lernier en la Bienal de São Paulo (1965). Su legado lo consagra como una figura cimera del Arte Venezolano y Latinoamericano del siglo XX.La exposición "RETORNO" presenta una selección de pinturas y dibujos que evocan su regreso a Maracaibo, destacando una faceta dibujística de gestos caligráficos asiáticos y la serie "Laberintos" de su última etapa pictórica.
Celebrating "RETORNO", 700 Arte y Antigüedades resumes its representation of the Fundación Francisco Hung. The work of Francisco Hung merges cultures into a vibrant energy, where the influence of Chinese calligraphy manifests in intense and delicate strokes, while the exuberance of the tropics nourishes his palette. This unique synthesis engages with Abstract Expressionism, resulting in the "Materias Flotantes" (Floating Matters) for which he became known.The Maestro achieved national and international recognition, earning the National Painting Prize of Venezuela (1965), the Arturo Michelena Prize three times (1965, 1970, 1986), and the Felisa Lernier Prize at the São Paulo Biennial (1965). His legacy firmly establishes him as a leading figure in Venezuelan and Latin American Art of the 20th century.The "RETORNO" exhibition presents a selection of paintings and drawings that evoke his return to Maracaibo, highlighting a drawing style marked by Asian calligraphic gestures and the "Laberintos" (Labyrinths) series from his final pictorial period.

Como celebración principal de su 51 Aniversario, el Centro Venezolano Americano del Zulia invitó a 700 Arte y Antigüedades y la Fundación Francisco Hung a inaugurar una nueva lectura de "RETORNO" en los espacios de CEVAZ Gallery.En esta nueva edición de "RETORNO", se presentó "El Despertar del Dragón" por primera vez. Concebida en 1995, permaneció en el estudio de Francisco Hung y en la colección privada de su propietario hasta su revelación en 2024.
To mark its 51st anniversary, the Centro Venezolano Americano del Zulia invited 700 Arte y Antigüedades and Fundación Francisco Hung to present a fresh perspective on "RETORNO" at CEVAZ Gallery.In this new iteration of "RETORNO", "El Despertar del Dragón" made its public debut. Conceived in 1995, it remained in Francisco Hung's studio and its owner's private collection until its revelation in 2024.

Tercera generación de la Familia Rincón Canaán, LUIS NÚÑEZ RINCÓN sintió el llamado de la escena galerística desde temprana edad. Su experiencia profesional y formación en Sotheby’s Institute of Art y Node Center for Curatorial Studies (Berlin) lo llevan a impulsar las próximas generaciones de talentos hacia el reconocimiento internacional.
Third generation of the Rincón Canaán Family, LUIS NÚÑEZ RINCÓN felt the call of the gallery scene from an early age. His professional experience and training at Sotheby’s Institute of Art and Node Center for Curatorial Studies (Berlin) lead him to promote the next generations of talent towards international recognition.
BEATRIZ CANAÁN DE RINCÓN (†), nacida en una familia libanesa de gran sensibilidad artística, amplió sus conocimientos a través de viajes y estudios por Europa. En 1977, junto a su esposo, Ender Rincón, fundó "700 Arte y Antigüedades".Durante más de cuatro décadas, fomentó estrechas relaciones con artistas excepcionales, liderando conceptos originales como "Ser Escultor" y organizando eventos trascendentales como la "Feria Internacional de Arte y Antigüedades de Maracaibo (FIAAM)".Beatriz alzó la "Fundación Fernando Rincón Canaán" en 2006, impulsando valores de formación artística y práctica del deporte en la juventud. Hoy es una figura célebre en círculos filantrópicos.
BEATRIZ CANAÁN DE RINCÓN (†), born into a Lebanese family with great artistic sensitivity, broadened her knowledge through travels and studies in Europe. In 1977, together with her husband, Ender Rincón, she founded "700 Arte y Antigüedades".For more than four decades, she fostered close relationships with exceptional artists, leading original concepts such as "Ser Escultor" and organizing significant events like the "Feria Internacional de Arte y Antigüedades de Maracaibo (FIAAM)".Beatriz established the "Fundación Fernando Rincón Canaán" in 2006, promoting values of artistic education and the practice of sports in youth. Today, she is a celebrated figure in philanthropic circles.
